Ok, well it’s the New Year! And I promise to try to be more efficient with my time. But I’ll be honest, It’s not always easy 😀
Well, I have to confess, I’ve been a little lazy this week, what with Holidays coming up and all that. I *still* haven’t adjusted the tread pattern like I discussed, but It’s still on my list. :3 However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t done anything…
So, I’ve been plugging away at this project, and it’s starting to shape up.
A couple of pics…
So, Finally… I can start getting to work.
In doing my complete look for today’s Modern Mistress, One of the big questions was, where should I start? After a lot of thought, I decided the old adage of beginning with a good foundation made sense. Especially in light of Mesh and how things have to layer. So I’m starting at the feet. 🙂
Then once the feet are cared for, I can go to the skirts/pants, what have you. Then merge that with the tops, and then over that, the coats/jackets and outer wear. That way I can be sure everything works together, as flawlessly as possible.
So, back to the feet. As with the overall design, In starting here we must begin with a solid foundation as well. So I’m starting at the sole. Not a terrible lot to see yet, but All things start from humble beginnings. 🙂
Lots of fun lately. Yesteday I had my 6th Rez Day! Hard to believe I’ve been around for 6 years now but it’s true. LL apparently sends Premium Members a rez day cake now, cute idea. So here’s the lowdown on what’s been going on lately:
The list from last week updated:
- Finish Clicker version of Interface (In Testing)
- Redo Latex Texture (Done)
- Make adjustments to mesh (Done)
- Create all of the Various alpha layers. (20% done)
- Create all of the Standard Sizes
- Create the Demos
- Write the documentation
- Make sales materials
Other than a bug I learned about today, And anything that may pop up with Clicker Testing, The list is getting down to the nitty-gritty. 🙂 I’m trying not go get too sidetracked, but what with LL making boneheaded moves that severely impact the ability to do my job in SL, it’s difficult. I’ll persevere though! 🙂
Until next week,
