It’s been awhile since I posted anything about Karl Stiefvater and the Mesh Deformer project, so I figured I’d give a quick update on the latest.
There’s been a couple of revisions of the code since I last posted, V0.2 added some averaging which helped with the lumpy that was being seen earlier, and the latest V0.3 has added some threading to prevent ‘frame stalls’ while the deformer calculations are going on (think the viewer freezing for 4-5 seconds every time a new deforming mesh came into view).
The latest patch is available at Karl’s blog, here. I’m sure it will be included in some viewers for testing soon.
Time flies when you’re having fun! I can’t believe it’s been over a week since I last posted. Seems like only a few days ago.
Here’s a look at where I’m at, for those who want to stay in the know. 🙂
Hi there, Time for another short update.
All the features of the Standard Harness, but specially fitted to the Blue Galaxian line of Mesh Avatars from Blue Galaxy.
This special Edition is only available at the main store, and on the SL Marketplace.
My tried and trusty 2007 store has once again been retired, having served it’s purpose of keeping the rain off everyone while I got through the labor-intensive launch of [H]arsh.
But now it’s time for a new building to go along with the new store and new attitude. 🙂
Nobody can say we aren't staying sharp. 😛
Many thanks to Mel Melville for taking the time to Interpret my desires and come up with something Uniquely [H]arsh. And additional thanks to Deidre for making it happen. Whoot!
